Dave and I walked into town for dinner. He didn't even notice the wine tasting room that we passed after we saw a small pub with bikes parked outside. We figured that had to be a good place and it was. Dave had the chicken, walnut, and apple salad. I had the smoked salmon penne pasta. We left before the music started, but the place had a great vibe to it with all the tap handles hanging off the ceiling.We chatted with the bartender as we were leaving. He was having a smoke break out on the sidewalk. Dave asked him about the bikes and he explained that people always ride their bikes to the pub and there are usually a lot more. He said that two of the bikes in the rack were bikes they loan out when someone has had too much to drive home. I asked about helmets and he said no, but that was a good idea...
